 Geri Halliwell: Got engaged after dating a month
Spicey Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is spicing up her life in a big way.
Geri Halliwell has announced that she is engaged to Italian yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi.
The 36-year-old singer - who split from London nightclub owner Nick House in December - only met Fabrizio, 34, in a nightclub in Florence last month.
Halliwell's management firm, 19, confirmed in a statement: "We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi.
"As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season.
"There are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement."
In May 2006, Halliwell welcomed a baby girl, whom she named Bluebell Madonna . (The baby's father is reportedly screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.)
