On Wednesday film star Tom Cruise has urged his fellow Americans to get behind their new president. He made the comment during the British premiere of his new film "Valkyrie" in London's Leicester Square.
Sources have thrown more light on the news of Tom Cruise. When being about his reaction after hearing the election of Barack Obama as president of United States, the actor answered, "Hope, absolute hope.
Tom continued, "He has a challenge ahead and it's up to us as a country, it's not just up to him. We have got to support him and I believe he is going to do it."
On the red carpet Tom Cruise was accompanied by his lovely wife, Katie Holmes, who wore a sparkling blue dress. After he ushered her into the cinema hall, Tom spent nearly one hour signing autographs and posing for photographs with fans.
In the film, Tom Cruise wears a Nazi uniform since he portrays Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg, a German national hero who has made the attempt to kill Hitler.
British co-star Bill Nighy, who also attended the premier, commented that Cruise was "wonderful to work with". He further added that "He was a dreamy guy to do business with, he was inspirational and courteous and generous to everyone around him." |
