Boy George: Sentenced to fifteen months of imprisonment

Boy George was sentenced to 15 months in jail in East London on Friday. A famous news agency of United States has brought out this report.

More news on Boy George has been inferred from quite a number of sources. According to them , this former  lead singer of the 1980s hit band titled Culture Club, whose  birth name is George O’Dowd, was convicted of falsely imprisoning a male escort by handcuffing him to a wall in a London apartment. The incident happened in the year 2007.

As per the ruling Boy George was convicted in the month of December for handcuffing Audun Carlsen to a wall hook at Mr. O’Dowd’s apartment.

Judge David Radford said forty seven year old Mr. O’Dowd (Boy George) was guilty of “gratuitous violence.” In the year 2006, Boy George  was sentenced to community service with New York City’s Department of Sanitation after pleading guilty of  falsely reporting a robbery.
