Cable network Investigation Discovery has signed ex CNN anchor Paula Zahn for an exclusive deal in order to develop a weekly newsmagazine.
Sources have thrown more light on the news of Paula Zahn. Under the contract, Zahn and producers Scott Weinberger and Scott Sternberg will create an investigative series for the network.
If it got sanctioned, the project will make her debut this year and thus gained the first full-fledged on-air journalism position that Zahn could achieve since leaving CNN in 2007.
"I am excited to join Investigation Discovery to create a series that's driven by compelling storytelling," added Paula Zahn, who also worked at Fox News Channel, CBS News and ABC News.
When being asked about her reaction Paula commented, "The process of uncovering the truth is something I have always been passionate about."
In fact Paula Zahn would be the latest in a string of former anchors who found jobs on new cable networks, including Ted Koppel going to BBC America and Dan Rather joining HDNet. |
