John Travolta: Son remembered at memorial service

John Travolta’s son remembered in tears. On Thursday John and Kelly Preston both kissed a large photograph of their son at the close of an emotional memorial service for the sixteen year old son.

Sources have thrown more light on the news of John Travolta. Nearly one hundred people who have attended the ceremony have expressed grief on the occasion. He said that people who were present at the service included Lisa Marie Presley, country music stars Garth Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood, “Sopranos” star James Gandolfini, Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker, “Cheers” star Kirstie Allie and retired baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr.

According to the source, the only person who spoke at the service was a female minister of the Church of Scientology. The guests came into the tent for the service and after they were seated, Travolta, Preston and their eight year old daughter namely Ella Bleu have arrived.

After the end of the service, both parents kissed the large photo of Jett that was displayed behind the podium. He passed away over the New Year’s holiday after suffering a seizure while on vacation in the Bahamas. This was known from the reports of the officials there. His body then was sent for cremation.

The gates in front of Jumbolair were tightly guarded by security people of John Travolta and Marion County Sheriff’s Office personnel. No media was given permission and the Travoltas’ press representatives issued no statements.

The service inside Jumbolair was private. However outside the gates a kind of public waking took place that featured nearly three dozen members of the media along with onlookers, thereby passing cars and neighbors of the Travolta family.

Memorial went on throughout the day. Cars drove up to the front gate of Jumbolair in the hours that lead up to the service, and jets could also be seen landing at the subdivision’s airstrip.

All the drivers were directed inside by the security personnel who wore black suits. Also, a steady stream of people bearing gifts and sympathy cards kept coming to the gate to give them to security officers, who reportedly delivered them to the Travolta home on periodical basis throughout the day.
