Michael Jackson: Taken lease on Bel Air Mansion
The King of Pop is living in Los Angeles.
Singing superstar Michael Jackson has taken a lease on a Bel Air mansion, his manager-spokesperson Tohme Tohme confirmed to The Los Angeles Times.
Michael Jackson reportedly wanted the property so he could be "where all the action is," his manager told the paper.
The home, built in 2002, is a French chateau-style estate with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a theatre, wine cellar and tasting room, and 12 fireplaces, according to the Times.
Michael Jackson is paying $100,000 a month for the lease, which has been signed for one year, the paper reported. But don't expect Jackson to stay in the Bel Air home forever.
"He might want to build his own dream house," Tohme said. "Although the real estate market isn't very good right now."
