Vinnie Jones: Pleads not guilty in bar brawl
Vinnie Jones has heaved a sigh of relief. On Tuesday an attorney for the X-Men star pleaded not guilty on behalf of his client for assaulting charges thereby resulting from a crash at a local bar sometime earlier this month in South Dakota. A popular news magazine has revealed the news.
Details about Vinnie Jones’ news have been inferred from multiple sources. According to a spokesperson for the Minnehaha County Circuit Court in Sioux Falls, forty three year old Jones was not required to appear before the judge in order to answer to a misdemeanor count of simple assault that has stemmed from his arrest on 5th December arrest at Wiley's, an area watering hole.
Vinnie Jones, who started his career in the Guy Ritchie-helmed gangster comedies Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch and who also played the villainous Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand, was blamed of head butting a patron after he was hit in the face with a beer mug.
The incident began after the two reportedly got into a fight over a pool game. Vinnie Jones was alleged of an assailant, charged with felony assault and remained in lock up.
A lawyer for Vinnie Jones could not be reached for comment. If found guilty, the actor could face one year in the slammer.
