Megan Fox shot to fame following her role as a robot-fighting girl in 2007's "Transformers," and captured the hearts - and mouse clicks - of both men and women in "The Fandango 2009 Hot List." Megan only appeared in one film in 2008, the Simon Pegg fronted comedy, "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People," but men and women agreed that Megan will be the sexiest woman at the movies in 2009.
Megan will star in the Diablo Cody slasher film, "Jennifer's Body," and return to kicking robot ass in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," in 2009.
When it came to film's leading male stars, men and women disagreed over who will be the sexiest in 2009.
Women chose Johnny Depp as the sexiest man in film for the New Year. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star will put the swashbuckling on hold in 2009 for the Terry Gilliam-directed "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," for a role he stepped into along with Colin Farrell and Jude Law following heath Ledger's tragic death. The three Hollywood heavyweights all agreed to play Ledger's character, "Tony," at various stages in the film. Johnny will also star in Michael Mann's "Public Enemies," alongside "The Dark Knight's" Christian Bale in '09.
Guys picked "Australia's" Hugh Jackman as the sexiest movie man for the coming year. Hugh will slash into theaters this summer with "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," treating fans to early days of everybody's favorite regenerating mutant.
As for the next big stars of '09, men favored "Star Trek's" Zachary Quinto, while women selected Channing Tatum from the upcoming, "G.I. Joe." |
