 Britney Spears: Childhood video displayed
Pop queen Britney Spears always have captured media spotlight. Casting director Matt Casella shares a rare video of a 9-year-old Britney Spears with a popular news magazine of United States at open audition. Audition was held in Atlanta.
Regarding Britney Spears’ video Casella threw more light. He said, "There were over 2,000 kids that day," Casella recalls. "Her mom Lynne had driven her eight hours to the audition and Britney had to wait another eight hours to get in the room."
But once she started singing and dancing, "I knew a star was born." Britney Spears put the comment forth.
Twenty eight year old Britney Spears, who is rebounding from numerous personal and professional setbacks, was the perfect little lady that day.
"She called me 'Sir'". "I told Britney and her parents that I would do whatever I could to help her dreams come true," added Casella.
Casella took part in a new ABC show Rediscovered that is going to be premiered on 23rd December. The show is going to be hosted by Donny & Marie. It seeks out unknown, old aspiring stars, and gives them a chance to live out their fantasies of pop stardom.
Executive producer Dave Broome said, "This show is about making childhood dreams come true," "What makes this show so different is that, unlike other competition shows, none of our contestants applied. We tracked them down, surprised them, and plucked them from their daily lives for this once in a lifetime chance." |
