George W. Bush: Buys house in Dallas
George W. Bush, the US President, and First Lady Laura Bush have bought a house in one of the richest areas in Dallas, Texas. They are planning to live there after leaving the White House. On Thursday a representative has revealed this information.
Details about George W. Bush have been inferred from quite a number of sources. According to Sally McDonough, "The president and Mrs Bush have purchased a home in the Preston Hollow neighborhood in Dallas, Texas, where they will live after the president leaves office in January 2009."
A report has been published in a popular newspaper of United States that stated that the long-time friend and accountant of George W. Bush namely Robert McCleskey bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home that local authorities estimated to have cost 2,078,660 dollars.
The home, which covers 1.13 acres (0.46 hectares), has 8,501 square feet (790 square meters) of living space. It includes 896 square feet (83 square meters) of servant quarters, a wet bar, and a fireplace.
It is also reported that an anonymous buyer bought a smaller adjoining home that had been listed for 1.6 million dollars thereby noting that it could be used for the Secret Service protectors that George W. Bush will have even in retirement.
The newspaper also attached a photograph of the possible residence of George Bush and his family after that he is going to use after January 20. However the trees mostly obscured the home.
"The president and Mrs Bush do not have occupancy of the home, and therefore, no additional details will be provided," added the spokesperson.
Earlier from December 1988 to January 1995 Bush and his entire family resided in Dallas. After that they have shifted to the Texas governor's mansion in Austin, Texas. |
