Oprah Winfrey: Plans to take show to Washington
A surprise is waiting for the fans of Oprah Winfrey. This cheerleader of US President elect Barack Obama has planned to bring her famous show to Washington DC, nation’s capital, during the week of Obama’s January 20th inauguration.
More news on Oprah Winfrey has been inferred from multiple sources. "I'm going to break that right here; that's where I'm going to be," "See you there…that's the place to be." Oprah herself has put this comment forth on Wednesday.
Oprah Winfrey gave her support behind the candidate's race for the White House last spring. Not only that she also joined Obama on some of his campaign stops.
However, Winfrey promised not to use her daytime show as a platform for any political candidates. None of the candidates appeared on her show.
Now during the post election session she has taken a different stance.
As she said the next morning, she is going to devote her show that day in order to discuss with Obama and also the inference of his historic win.
"I have two words for you, America - Mr. President," "It was one of the most electrifying and emotional nights," added Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah Winfrey will shoot an episode on Monday, Jan. 19 at the Kennedy Center Opera House. |
