 Patrick Swayze: Refutes 'deathbed' rumors
Patrick Swayze, the famous actor, has denied the reports published by tabloid newspapers of United States that claim that he is close to death. He has called the act as "shoddy and reckless reporting".
Sources have thrown more light on the news of Patrick Swayze. Fifty six year old actor said that the reports " were "lies and false information".
Patrick Swayze, who has been shooting for a US TV drama, added that his pancreatic cancer was "a battle, but so far I'm winning".
He has been diagnosed with the disease in the month of March. Presently he is undergoing a rigorous treatment.
In a statement to People magazine, the actor called newspaper stories "the only thorn in my side", and said he was home for the Christmas holidays after filming police series The Beast.
A popular US tabloid reported that Swayze's cancer has already spread to his liver.
Also there are few more US newspapers which initially reported that Patrick Swayze had only weeks to live when his diagnosis became public in the month of March.
Patrick Swayze admitted that he was one of the "lucky few" that responds to treatment for the illness.
However he also mentioned that "Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease and from the moment I was diagnosed, I knew I was in for the fight of my life." |
