Prince Charles Windsor: Appreciates British Muslim talents
Prince Charles Windsor took part in an award ceremony for talented British Muslims along with Jordan’s Princess Badiya bint El Hassan. He also acknowledged that Muslim communities have "enriched Britain in every sense".
More news on Prince Charles Windsor has been inferred from quite a number of sources. The Mosaic Talent Awards have been newly created in collaboration with one of the heir-to-the-throne's charities, Mosaic. It provides scope of mentoring in order to help to increase the aspirations of disaffected young Muslims.
"I was fascinated to hear the views of the imam of the Leeds Makkah Mosque (in the north of England) on how, through a wide range of initiatives including Mosaic, Britain seeks to integrate rather than isolate its minority communities and offers real freedom of choice and of expression," added Prince Charles Windsor.
He continued, "I have to say that it is this acceptance -- indeed, this welcome -- of diversity which makes me rather proud to be British."
The British authorities have sought to involve more with Muslim communities since the suicide bomb attacks that has occurred in London in the year 2005, where 4 British nationals blow themselves up on the city's transport network, thereby killing 52 others. |
