 Brooke Burke: Moves close to the dancing final
American television personality and model, BrooKe Burke could be the winner of the "Dancing With the Stars" competition.
The 37 year old Brooke Burke and her professional partner, Derek Hough, dominated the most popular ABC dancing competition's final round on Monday night. They received a combined score of 58 out of 60 from the judges. From their sexy samba to their “Grease” inspired freestyle, the most consistent pair from “Dancing’s” Season 7, took home the praise and the marks that put them at the top.
The judge Len Goodman, a longtime supporter of Brooke Burke and Derek, said, "Brooke, you’ve been the sensation of Season 7. You were the one to beat in week 1 and I think you’re still the one to beat in week 10".
Burke wowed the audience with a lively and twirly freestyle routine set to "You're the One That I Want" from "Grease".
The judges presented Brooke Burke with a perfect score of 30 for the routine. Burke has come in first place seven out of nine times during the competition and received a 10, the judges' top score — 13 times, maintaining an average score of 28 from the judges.
The judge Bruno Tonioli said to Brooke Burke, "You are the one that we all want".
The former 'N Sync member Lance Bass and Lacey took on an ambitious freestyle which mixed hip-hop dancing with a cha cha. They took 27 out of 30.
The former NFL player Warren Sapp and Kym stepped up their game too by throwing in some dangerous, but thrilling lifts. They took home 28 out of 30.
Lance Bass and Warren Sapp, both received a combined total of 53 out of 60.
Co-host Tom Bergeron said the final tally will be made up of 50% judges score and 50% viewers votes.  BrooKe Burke on the set of "Dancing with the stars" |
