 Britney Spears: Speaks out on her failed marriage
For the first time Britney Spears opens up about her two-year marriage to Kevin Federline. In her upcoming documentary "For The Record", the dancer-turned-rapper admitted that she married her former back-up dancer for the wrong reasons.
Britney Spears got married to Kevin in September 2004 and she gave birth to their first son Sean Preston exactly a year later.
The 26 year old Britney Spears said on the show, "I think I married for the wrong reasons. Instead of following my heart and doing something that made me really happy, I just did it for the idea of everything".
"For The Record" will be screened on Sky 1 on December 1st, a day before Britney's 27th birthday and her sixth studio album Circus is released. She said that dancing helps her deal with the tough times.
Britney spears admitted, "If I have a lot of nervous energy, when I start dancing, it all goes away and I just feel emotion. It's like a roller coaster. People think that when you go through something in life, you have to go to therapy. For me, art is therapy, because it's like you're expressing yourself in such a spiritual way".
Britney also said, "Sometimes you don't need to use words to go through what you need to go through. Sometimes it's an emotion you need to feel when you dance, that you need to touch. And the only thing that can touch it is when you move a certain way". |
