 Heather Locklear: Charged with driving offense
Heather Locklear, the famous actress, is going through a tough time. On Monday the prosecutors have charged her with driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
More news on Heather Locklear has been inferred from quite a number of sources. According to them, in the month of September forty seven year old was detained in the city of Montecito that is situated at a distance of nearly ninety miles northwest of Los Angeles. Actually a California Highway Patrol officer has found her car parked on a highway thereby blocking a traffic lane.
A toxicology test has revealed the fact that Heather Locklear had prescription medication in her system. However no trace of alcohol or illegal drugs was found. Lee Carter, senior deputy district attorney for Santa Barbara County, California has told this to the media.
The same source said that Heather Locklear was charged with a misdemeanor and not a more serious felony count.
Locklear achieved popularity in the 1980s drama "Dynasty." In the 1990s, she starred in the drama titled "Melrose Place." Her ex-husband is rock guitarist Richie Sambora of the band Bon Jovi.
Heather Locklear is expected to be accused on January 26. However Locklear’s attorney was not available for comment. |
