 Justin Timberlake: Restaurant at New York sued over wages
New York restaurant that is owned by famous pop star Justin Timberlake has been charged of cheating staff out of tips, proper pay and overtime. This has been said as per the words of Lawsuit that was filed on Friday.
Sources have thrown more light on the news of Justin Timberlake. A busboy who worked at the restaurant for a year from June 2007 has filed the suit on behalf of fifty other employees. They have brought the accusation on Justin Timberlake as well as two of his business partners and managers of Southern Hospitality BBQ restaurant in Manhattan. Charges include stealing tips and not paying the minimum wage or overtime.
The suit that was filed in Manhattan federal court has sought unspecified damages.
Besides Justin Timberlake others who are also named in other suits include Jean Georges that has 3 Michelin stars and other restaurants owned by French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten; Jay Z's 40/40 Club; celebrity haunt Pastis; three New York restaurants co-owned by actor Robert De Niro in the global Nobu chain.
However none of the Southern Hospitality was available for comments. |
