 Elton John: Plans musical tour
There is good news for the fans of Elton John. He along with Billy Joel will reprise their highly successful concerts. It is scheduled to start in the month of March next year.
More news on Elton John has been inferred from varied sources. As per their reports, John has brought out the confirmation that the couple would work together again. On Tuesday he said so during an appearance on "The View”. He further added that they could be on the road for "at least" 2 years. However the sources have refused to say anything in details.
At first, Elton John and Joe will tour "select cities" during March and May. Details of the sale of tickets will be announced soon.
Regarded as the top-grossing co-headliners of all time, Elton John and Joel first have worked together in the year 1994. Last they have toured together in the year 2003, when they made a gross profit of 45.8 million dollars from only twenty four sellouts, an average of nearly 2 million dollars every night.
The duo has performed in the stadiums. The sources confirmed the forthcoming tour of Elton John too is going to follow the similar format that has been taken in the year 2003, when the artists played songs together and individually.
The prices of the show ticket are also similar to 2003, where the top price was 175 dollars.
Elton John said, "It's two people for the price of one." "Our ticket prices are the same as you'd see anyone else, but there's two of us. In this day and age, we hope to be getting people value for their money." |
