 Keanu Reeves: Jury deals with paparazzo's claim
On Friday a jury from Los Angeles started deliberating a claim of paparazzo that actor Keanu Reeves has knocked him with his Porsche thereby causing a permanent injury on his wrist.
Media has thrown more light on the news of Keanu Reeves. According to them, attorneys for both sides issued their closing arguments before the jury started deliberation for nearly 5 minutes and left for the weekend. Jurors have planned to resume work from Monday.
The attorney for the paparazzo Alison Silva asked the jury to award Silva 711,974, dollars which includes medical bills, loss of wages and disciplinary damages. It is also said that in his closing argument he was a fan of Reeves but continually contended that the actor was "a little careless."
"Would a reasonably careful person keep driving forward?" .Farzam asked it to the jury.
On the other hand Keanu Reeves' attorney, Alfred Gerisch, described Silva as a "paparazzo gone wild" in his closing argument. Not only that he also focused on the contradictory statements of Silva to doctors, deputies and witnesses about what happened.
Keanu Reeves was present inside the courtroom on Friday during the entire proceedings. Before Gerisch presented his closing argument, the actor asked his attorney to move his podium so that it should not block Silva’s attorney in the cramped courtroom. |
