Carol Alt: Testifies in claim against ex-husband
Carol Alt, the popular model and actress, had lots of good things to say about ex hockey player namely Ron Greschner. She said so when she testified in federal court on Tuesday about their eighteen years of married life. However the good vibe was not enough to end their dispute over money that she earned in a business venture.
Details about Carol Alt have been gathered from multiple sources. This forty seven year old actress-model recalled telling Greschner as they discussed money after being separated in the year 1997. She said, "My career's on the way down. Can you just be fair?"
Carol Alt commented that she completely trusted the ex New York Rangers defenseman, who used to handle her finances till the year 1999.
Carol expressed her views to Judge Colleen McMahon, who is going to declare her verdict in the civil case on Wednesday. She said, "I loved Ronnie always," "He was lovely with me. I had no reason to worry. ... He was the most important person in my adult life."
Carol Alt, who has appeared on the cover of swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated and also on popular TV shows including "King of the Hill" and "The Apprentice," sued Greschner for 1 million dollars. He sought him on January 2007 at a Rangers game and also inquired about their joint investment in a water filtration business.
The business had been sold almost ten years earlier. However Greschner commented that he did not owe money to Alt since profits that might have triggered a payout under their separation agreement were spent as taxes.
Fifty three year old Greschner testified that he acted fairly as per the terms of their settlement of divorce.
After getting married for the second time, Greschner resides in West Palm Beach, Fla., and is raising 3 boys, aged 6, 8, and 12, and two girls, aged 3 and 5. He did not have any children with Carol Alt, who lives in Manhattan. |
