 Michael Caine: Got selected to co-host Noble Peace Concert
There is good news for the fans of Michael Caine, the famous actor. He is chosen as a co-host for 2008 Nobel Peace Concert that will be held for honoring this year's laureate. On Tuesday the organizers have revealed the news to the reporters.
Sources have thrown more light on the news of Michael Caine. This seventy five year old Oscar winning actor is going to host the Dec. 11 show along with Scarlett Johansson.
Diana Ross headlines the show. Other eminent personalities namely Feist, Dierks Bentley, Julieta Venegas and Seun Kuti will also grace the occasion with their presence.
The selection of Michael Caine was exclusively released to a popular news agency by the organizers almost a day ahead of the general announcement. The name of Scarlett Johansson as co-host was declared almost a week ago.
Michael Caine has grabbed the Academy Award as best supporting actor in 1986's film namely "Hannah and Her Sisters" and 1999's "The Cider House Rules." He and Johansson made an appearance together in the film titled “The Prestige." It was released in the year 2006.
Former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari has won the desirable prize for his peace efforts on several continents. The Nobel concert is organized every year the day after the Nobel peace awards ceremony. |
