Alicia Keys: Gets five music award nominations
Time proves to be really good for Alicia Keys. On Tuesday morning she has been nominated for five American Music Awards. This is the maximum nomination that any artist has received this year.
More news on Alicia Keys has been inferred from multiple sources. According to them, after Keys names of the British quartet Coldplay and veteran rockers the Eagles, each with four nominations, come in tandem. Next in line, with 3 nods each, are rap singer Lil Wayne and R&B hit-maker Chris Brown.
The mega show will be aired live on Nov. 23 from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, Jimmy Kimmel has been chosen as emcee for the occasion.
"I haven't prepared anything yet," "I never have anything planned or in store, but we will! I still have a month to go." The nighttime talk show host has told this to the reporters of a popular newspaper of United States.
Kimmel has made the announcement of the above-mentioned contenders alongside dancer-chanteuse Julianne Hough and pop star Jesse McCartney.
The show will also feature a list of performers of eminent celebrities namely the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo, Pink, the Pussycat Dolls and the reunited New Kids on the Block.
Kimmel, however, commented that the unscripted moments are often the most entertaining, similar to last year when Joe Jonas slipped during his group’s performance. |
