John McCain: Discusses about possibility of Palin's appearance on 'SNL'
John McCain is in news again. Recently he made a comment that his running mate Sarah Palin would appear on "Saturday Night Live." However a representative of the show did not give any confirmation of the news.
More news on Sarah Palin has been inferred from quite a number of sources. During an interview on 14th October Senator John McCain was being asked about his running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and her resemblance to Tina Fey, who has been playing her character on "SNL."
“See Palin, now see Tina Fey. What is your reaction?” added John McCain.
He continued, “It’s good humor”. “I’ve been on ‘SNL,’ I’ve hosted it. Darrell Hammond does a great job (as McCain). I think Sarah Palin is going to be on ‘SNL.’”
A representative for the show shoots down this latest hint about the likelihood of an appearance by the governor. “Nothing is confirmed at this point,” added "SNL" spokesman namely Marc Liepis.
Previously the New York Post reported that Sarah Palin would appear on the Oct. 25 show that is hosted by “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm. Liepis also said that it was “completely untrue.”
However, Liepis has pointed out that the show “is always talking to campaigns.” However Sarah Palin's possible path to "SNL" has not yet been closed.
Conrad, who feels that she has been branded as a “bad friend and a slut,” is not even sure whether she is going to return for another season.
“She isn’t sure what to do. As of right now, she hasn’t signed off for the next season”. Conrad has made the comment while briefing the reporters of a popular news magazine of United States. |
