According to them, this beautiful actress, who has been awarded with Oscar and also 8 Emmys, will head the 120th Tournament of Roses. It is scheduled to take place on 1st January in Pasadena. The parade's theme is "Hats Off to Entertainment."
Eighty two year old Cloris Leachman, who also participated in the famous "Dancing With the Stars" contest, commented that she is quite excited after getting the opportunity of becoming a grand marshal of a parade that, according to her, "is older than I am."
Cloris Leachman has won an Oscar award for the category of best supporting actress for the film "The Last Picture Show" that was released in the year 1971. She also has got Emmy awards for Mary Tyler Moore's classic sitcom in the '70s and also "Malcolm in the Middle" in 2006. |
