 Shannen Doherty: Leaves CW's "90210"
Actress Shannen Doherty has already finished her work on The CW's "90210". Though, she could return to the show at the end of this season.
Shannen Doherty, the star of the original "Beverly Hills 90210" is currently pitching a show to a major network, which forced her to leave 90210.
Gary Mantoosh, a spokesman for Shannen Doherty said, "Shannen signed on for four episodes, which she has shot. If the CW comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she's happy to consider it".
In a statement, an authority of the series said on Friday that it would "love for her to do more" and there's "definitely" a possibility that could happen.
Excepting Shannen doherty, all other alumni of "Beverly Hills 90210" will not exit the show. In fact, original cast member Jennie Garth, who played student Kelly Taylor on the original Fox series and is a guidance counselor on "90210", has just signed on for five more episodes of 90210. |
