Matthew McConaughey: Two surfers charged with misdemeanor battery
Matthew McConaughey is involved in unnecessary hassles. Two surfers have been charged with misdemeanor battery for purportedly throwing a photographer into the water since he tried to shoot pictures of Matthew McConaughey busy in surfing.
Sources have thrown more light on this news of Matthew McConaughey. According to them, surfers namely twenty four year old Skylar Peakand Philip Hildebrand, who is thirty years old, are blamed of confronting quite a handful of paparazzi who have gathered in the month of June on a Malibu beach in order to take pictures and snaps of Matthew McConaughey.
One of the photographers told authorities he was attacked and the surfers threw his camera in the ocean after asking him to put away his camera. However Mathew McConaughey was not involved in the scuffle, which was one of a series of big incidents that prompted Malibu and other Los Angeles area officials to find out ways to curb the paparazzi.
Earlier Sheriff's officials commented that despite incident’s video being posted online, they struggled to find cooperative witnesses. But on Tuesday a representative of the Los Angeles district attorney's office mentioned that it was the prosecutors who felt that they have enough evidence to pursue the case.
Peak and Hildebrand will be charged in the month of October.
"We believe that a complete investigation, including looking at the tapes, will show that Skylar defended himself," added Howard Bragman , the publicists of Peak
