 Cuba Gooding Jr.: Plays "Gifted" doctor on small screen
Cuba Gooding Jr. will portray the character of a real-life neurologist in "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story," a TNT original movie that will be broadcasted under the banner of ‘Johnson & Johnson Spotlight Presentation’.
More information about Cuba Gooding Jr. has been grabbed from various sources. According to them, the movie, based on Carson's memoir, will trace his journey from irritated inner-city kid to the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. It will be broadcasted in the first quarter of the year 2009.
Thomas Carter, who directed the feature film namely"Coach Carter," which also was based on a true story, will carry on responsibility of directing the movie on the basis of a script by John Pielmeier.
Cuba Gooding Jr., who has won Oscar for film called "Jerry Maguire," acted in recent films like "American Gangster" and the independent film "Harold." |
