Barack Obama: To bring out a new policy book
Senator Barack Obama will release next month a book about his vision for the nation, his publisher said on Monday.
Publisher Three Rivers Press said that "Change We Can Believe In: Barack Obama's Plan to Renew America's Promise" will feature a foreword by the Democrat and policy analyses by his staff on issues like healthcare, energy and national security.
It will also print new seven speeches from his White House run, including his performing victory speech after January's Iowa caucuses, his recent address to 200,000 people in Berlin and a March disquisition on race relations.
After a best-selling memoir and a discourse on public life, it is scheduled to release on September 9 and Three Rivers Press, an imprint of Crown Publishing Group, expects it to join Barack Obama's two prior books "Dreams from My Father" and "Audacity of Hope" on the bestseller lists.
Jenny Frost, president of Crown Publishing Group, said in a statement, "We are proud to have published two bestselling books by Barack Obama and are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to work with his campaign on such an important and inspiring book at this critical moment in our country". |
