 Brad Pitt: Joins "Inglorious Bastards"
The rating of "Inglorious Bastards" will now go up due to Brad Pitt.
The famous actor Brad Pitt has officially joined "Inglorious Bastards" to play the role of Lt. Aldo Raine, who leads a band of eight Jewish-American soldiers to take out some rough justice on the Nazis. Quentin Tarantino will direct the movie.
British actor Simon Pegg is in discussions to join the film. David Krumholtz has an offer but may have a scheduling problem. Nastassja Kinski has begun negotiations to play the role of a German movie star.
Simon Pegg would play a British lieutenant. David Krumholtz would be a member of Brad Pitt's team.
Producer Lawrence Bender said that the chemistry of Brad Pitt and Tarantino, who have never worked together as actor and director, will yield unique results. He said, "They're going to push each other and really help make something special".
According to a source, shooting will begin in Germany in October, 2008 and Tarantino hopes to have the picture ready for next year's Cannes Film Festival in France.
Brad Pitt has clear schedule for this year. He is set to start shooting the boxing drama "The Fighter" for Paramount late this year or early next year. |
