 Brittany Snow: Defends arrested Nikki Blonsky
American television and film actress Brittany Snow has defended her ‘Hairspray’ co-star Nikki Blonsky, who was arrested on Friday and charged with assault in a Caribbean airport. Snow said that she is a good person.
Nikki Blonsky, 19, and her father, Carl Blonsky, were arrested following a brawl involving the family of America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden in the departure lounge of the Providenciales International Airport in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Golden was also charged with assault. Blonsky and Golden were released from jail on bail. Carl Blonsky remains in jail until a bail hearing.
The 22 year old Brittany Snow said, "Nikki is one of my really dear friends, and she's not a person that I would ever expect to have that controversy ... surrounding her".
Blonsky is best known for playing Tracy Turnbald, the daughter of John Travolta's character, in 'Hairspray'.
Still now, Brittany Snow could not talked to Blonsky.
Brittany Snow told the reporters, "I don't know how it happened or what exactly went on, but my heart goes out to her because I really do love her and I know she didn't mean to hurt anybody and nor did her dad. Her family is amazing". |
