 Lindsay Lohan: Fires back at 'gay' remark
The actress Lindsay Lohan got furious and responded harshly to a recent comment of Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton.
Lindsay Lohan said on Friday that the police has no business to get involved in her personal life. She commented this, a day after Bratton's explanation that the paparazzi were no longer an issue, "Lindsay Lohan has gone gay".
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were spending their days in New York City. They reached Los Angeles Airport to catch a flight to Chicago. At the airport, Lohan said, "Police chiefs shouldn't get involved in everyone else's business when it comes to their personal life. It's inappropriate".
Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton caused a media furore on Thursday when he boycotted a Los Angeles city task force meeting to discuss ways to curb paparazzi because, he said, new rules were not needed.
Bratton told local news channel KNBC, "If you notice, since Britney Spears started wearing clothes and behaving, Paris Hilton is out of town not bothering anybody, thank god; and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue".
Ronson said on her Facebook page that Bratton should "talk less and do more".
Bratton later called a news conference outside police headquarters to clarify his position on the paparazzi. At the news conference, Bratton dismissed a reporter's question that his remark about Lindsay Lohan was inappropriate.
He said, "No one is more supportive of gay rights than I am". |
