 Angelina Jolie: Stars as 'Catwoman'
Famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is reportedly to have been lined up to star as Catwoman in her forthcoming movie.
Reporters have thrown more light on this matter. According to them, thirty three year old Angelina Jolie, who has recently given birth to twins, is having talks for final negotiations with studio authorities to portray the character of Catwoman, the feline villain that was penned down in the Batman comics.
Sources said that the name of Angelina Jolie has been approved for the role by Julie Newmar, who had played the role of Catwoman in the Batman TV series from years 1966 to 1968.
According to seventy four year old Julie, “Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love.
"She is tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess, "added Julie.
After Julie there were many who have played the role of Catwoman. They include Michelle Pfeiffer who acted in 1992’s movie Batman Returns. It was Halle Berry’s portrayal of the villain in 2004’s film Catwoman that has received criticism from the experts of the entire world.
Rumor is on that Angelina Jolie has recently been chosen for the film, ‘The Thomas Crown Affair 2’ alongside Pierce Brosnan. However she was also being told to put on almost thirteen kg for the role. |
