 Courtney Love: Sued by management firm
Courtney Love is going through a problematic situation. She has been sued by a management firm for purportedly failing to pay commissions for the partial sale of her share of the Nirvana publishing catalogue.
More news about Courtney Love has been collected from multiple sources. According to them, the suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday by the management firm namely London & Co.
To be specific, Courtney Love, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, has sold a portion of the catalogue for 19.5 million dollars last year. London was hired to provide business management services to Love in lieu of payment of 5% of the revenues received by Love. This is as per the words written in the lawsuit.
Howard Weitzman, the attorney of Courtney Love, was available for comments. Regarding the allegations, he said, "I'm aware there's an issue between London Co. and Courtney, but I have not seen the lawsuit." |
