 Christian Bale: Accused of assaulting mother
The Batman star Christian Bale was being questioned by police over allegations of assaulting his mother and sister just the night before the European premiere of his film titled “The Dark Knight”. This news was confirmed by the British media.
His mother and sister reportedly complained that this thirty four year old actor has assaulted them at a hotel on western part of London hotel on Sunday.
The reporters of a popular news organization confirmed that they made the allegation at a police station in south England on Monday and that the allegation was passed on to Scotland Yard in London. It said questioning was expected sometime on Tuesday.
When being asked on Tuesday about the news reports, Scotland Yard said that it was investigating an allegation referred to it by another police force but refused to say whether the incident involved Christian Bale or not.
As per the report of another newspaper police did not question Christian Bale on Monday because they did not want to impede the premiere.
The U.S.-based spokespersons of Christian Bale however were not available for comments. Phone calls to his London representative remained unattended. |
