A cameraman claimed that he has in his possession a sex tape of Madonna and baseball player Alex Rodriguez romping on a sofa.
The cameraman is trying to sell the tape to the highest bidder, which he shot with a hidden camera in an apartment owned by a friend of the cameraman which was used by Madonna and Rodriguez for secret liaisons.
But legal experts said that the plan could backfire for the man himself, for he could end up facing prosecution for voyeurism and burglary. One expert said, “If footage was obtained in this way it would be an outrageous invasion of privacy".
The 49 year old Madonna has vehemently denied the rumors that she has been having an affair with baseball player and has repeatedly denied reports of a break in her marriage to Guy Ritchie.
Madonna’s lawyers told that they are aware of the sex tape claims, but refused to comment any further.
Madonna has rearranged her forthcoming world tour so that she can attend the premiere of her husband's new movie "RocknRolla" and his 40th birthday party on September 10th.
