 Amy Winehouse: Addicted to tanning
Amy Winehouse has developed an addiction of tanning her body.
Twenty four year old Amy Winehouse, who was recently admitted to hospital with a poor lung condition, has been supposedly triggered by use of drugs. It is reported that she has become obsessed with a sun bed that she has installed in her home. The source says that she even falls asleep under its powerful rays.
Friends are very much worried about Amy Winehouse who is spending more than an hour every day on order to darken her pale skin under the ultra violet lamps.
While briefing the reporters of a popular newspaper of United States a friend said that “Amy can't do anything by halves. Recently she has been going for it on the sun bed, but she won't be told. She bought it to get rid of the scabs that started appearing on her skin. Over the years Amy has been addicted to alcohol, all sorts of drugs, men and even knitting. Why can't she take up squash or something?"
It has been reported that Amy Winehouse's friend, Babyshambles rocker Pete Doherty, too have tried out the sun bed when Amy first delivered it to her London house. However he has hurt his eyes after refusing to wear goggles for safety.
The bulbs that are used in the lamps of the sun bed emit the same type of harmful radiation.
It is recommended that use of sun bed should be restricted to maximum of 20 minutes per day, with a forty-eight hours gap between sessions. |
