English-born, Australian pop singer, songwriter and actress Olivia Newton-John got married for second time. She is best known for her role in the movie "Grease".
According to a Sydney newspaper, Grammy Award-winner and Golden Globe-nominated Olivia Newton-John, 59, got married to American entrepreneur John Easterling, 49 at her home in Malibu, California last week in a surprise ceremony.
Guests, who have reached the house, previously thought that they are attending a Fourth of July Independence Day barbecue, but found they are participating in the couple's wedding.
Olivia Newton-John, whose hits include "You're The One That I Want" with John Travolta, said that she has gone through a lot in her life already and she will not accept any interference in her happiness.
The couple, who started dating last year, are both environmental campaigners.
Olivia Newton-John divorced her first husband Matt Lattanzi in the mid-1990s after he had an affair. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992.
In 2005, she was devastated by the disappearance of her boyfriend of nine years, 48-year-old Patrick McDermott, who went missing on a fishing trip off the California coast.
