Prince Harry Windsor, the third in line to the throne, is actively taking part in a project of revamping a centre for the disabled in the small mountain kingdom of Lesotho, Africa.

More news about Prince Harry Windsor has been grabbed from quite a number of sources as well. According to them, Harry has helped in the installation of ‘wheelchair ramps’ of the Thuso Community Centre that presently provides shelter to forty three children with profound physical and mental disabilities. In future the concerned authority is planning to give shelter to as many as eighty youngsters.

Thirty three year old Prince Harry Windsor, who recently has undertaken a two-month tour of duty with the British army in Afghanistan, was later participate in a football match that has been organized by Kick4Life, a local charity .

Moreover the local charity Sentebale has shouldered the responsibility of providing fund for the building work. This charitable organization is also heavily involved in the fight against AIDS in the kingdom which is totally landlocked by South Africa.

While talking to reporters on Monday Harper Brown, the director of Sentebale, said that nearly eighty people were dying every day from AIDS-related sickness in a country that has a population of about 2 million.

"Forty percent of Lesotho children are orphaned and the statistics are alarming. This is largely due to HIV AIDS," added Brown.

Prince Harry Windsor is scheduled to go to the Lesotho Child Counselling Unit, just outside the capital Maseru, on Wednesday. In addition Prince Harry has planned to visit quite a handful of orphanages as well.

It is said that Prince Harry Windsor has been a frequent visitor to Lesotho and made a television documentary about the difficulty of the children of the country in the year 2004.
