The 'Material Girl' Madonna has asked Britney Spears to join on her upcoming tour. She wants to help the troubled star and to revive her singing career.
Madonna scheduled to meet Spears in New York on Sunday for recording a video, which will be broadcast on big screens during her upcoming 'Sticky and Sweet' tour, due to start-off on August 23.
According to a source, the 49 year old Madonna has also invited the Britney Spears to join her onstage at some of her world tour dates.
The source told a British newspaper, "They are recording a video together on Sunday that will provide the backdrop for part of Madonna's show. And they are talking about Britney taking the stage on a few of the dates too. It's hoped that Madonna can help Britney get back to her old self".
The last time Madonna and Britney Spears shared a stage together on the 2003 MTV Music Awards and the singer stunned her fans when they shared a passionate kiss onstage.
