Lynda Carter: Confesses about alcohol addiction
The 57 year old singer and actress Lynda Carter has admitted publicly that she's an alcoholic.
Wonder Woman Lynda Carter said, "I was so good at hiding it too". But she could not hide it from her family members. She has two children namely Jamie, 20, and Jessica, 17 from her attorney husband Robert Altman.
Lynda Carter said, "My husband asked me -- 'Can't you just stop this for the children and for me?'"
Robert Altman's plea motivated her to look for treatment at a rehab facility near her home in Washington, D.C.
Lynda Carter said, "I needed help, I begged God in heaven to help me figure this out". Now she is sober for nearly ten years.
While asked her to say something about the recovery process, she said that the best measure of a human being is "how we treat the people who love us, and the people that we love".
