 Cher: Faced harassment at Nashville club
Singer- actress Cher has been repeatedly harassed at the famous ‘honky-tonk’ Tootsies Orchid Lounge. A Nashville man has faced charge of rowdy conduct and public intoxication.
Details about Cher’s news have been grabbed from a multiple sources. On early Wednesday morning thirty six year old Calvin Hutton Houghland has tried to contact Cher and was also asked to leave the club. This has been inferred from police records. According to them, he complied but returned only little time later and grabbed Cher by the waist as the singer-actress sat in a roped-off area of the lounge.
Houghland was escorted from the bar only to return after sometime. When security people tried to stop him from approaching the singer, Houghland called up police to say that he has been assaulted.
Police said that though Cher declined to prosecute Houghland was asked to be arrested.
Houghland has proved his failure to undergo a self-requested field sobriety test. His bond was fixed at $3,000. |
