 Sara Evans: Ties knot with Jay Barker
Sara Evans is having gala time since she has married Jay Barker, the former University of Alabama quarterback. This sensational news has been revealed by Lori Genes, the publicist of the country star at Sony BMG Nashville. He has told this to the reporters of a popular news agency on Monday. However he has declined to clarify anything in details.
According to the report of the website of a popular news magazine at US, the outdoor ceremony took place on Saturday at a farm in Franklin, Tenn.
It is not the first time that Sara Evans has got married. Thirty seven year old singer has filed for divorce from Craig Schelske in October 2006 after a span of thirteen years of married life. The divorce was completed last September only.
Jay Barker, who also is divorced, has four children. Sara Evans has 3 children.
Sara Evans made her recording debut in the year 1997. Her 2000 album, titled "Born to Fly," went double-platinum. Other hits include "Perfect," "Suds in the Bucket" and "Real Fine Place to Start."
Apart from this Sara Evans was a contestant on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," but pulled out when she has filed for divorce. |
