 Reese Witherspoon: Settles her divorce details
Reese Witherspoon has finalized her divorce from fellow actor Ryan Phillippe. According to documents filed in Los Angeles court on Thursday, the pair have resolved the remaining issues of their split. They did not file exact details because they indicated that they wanted joint custody of their children, ages 8 and 4.
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe chosen an uncontested divorce, which kept many of its particulars private.
After seven years of their marriage, when Witherspoon filed for divorce in November 2006, she cited the cause as "irreconcilable differences".
The "Legally Blonde" actress, Reese Witherspoon won the best-actress Academy Award in 2006 for her portrayal of June Carter Cash in "Walk the Line". Ryan Phillippe, who appeared in "Igby Goes Down" and "Crash", most recently starred in "Stop-Loss".
According to a source, the 32 year old Reese Witherspoon is currently dating Jake Gyllenhaal while Phillippe, 33, recently began dating Abbie Cornish. |
