 Patrick Swayze: Returns to work
Veteran actor Patrick Swayze is coming back to the world of acting and glamour. After battling the life-taking disease of pancreatic cancer the actor is resuming his normal life.
The reporters have come up with more information regarding Patrick Swayze’s coming back. According to them, this fifty five year old actor will be play the role of FBI agent namely Charles Baker in thirteen episodes of the famous US TV show titled The Beast.
In The Beast, the character of Patrick Swayze teaches his rookie partner unorthodox ‘crime-fighting methods’ while clandestinely being investigated by an ‘Internal Affairs team’.
Australian actor and former Tarzan star Travis Fimmel will play Ellis Dove, the on-screen partner of Patrick. If everything goes well, the film shooting is scheduled to start in Chicago this August.
While putting forth his statement Patrick Swayze has added that "I have searched for quite a long time to find a character that is this multi-layered, unpredictable and downright entertaining, as well as a project this current and cutting edged."
Bob DeBitetto, the creators of the Breast and also the executive vice-president and general manager of a famous news network, has forwarded his comments. "Obviously, we've had candid conversations with him and his doctors, and we have a fairly high degree of expectation that Patrick will be good to work a full production schedule," added the source.
Before announcing his illness, in the month of January, Patrick Swayze has starred in a pilot episode of the program. Currently he is very much optimistic of completing this full 13-episode series. |
