 Kelsey Grammer: To play bad dad in new ABC sitcom
The American actor, Kelsey Grammer, whose latest sitcom "Back to You" was recently axed by Fox after just one season, is returning now to prime time with a starring role on ABC's comedy pilot "Roman's Empire".
The project centers on Leo, played by Nick Thune, a guy who tries to free himself from his ex-girlfriend's wealthy family and her overbearing father Roman, played by Kelsey Grammer.
Laura Leigh and Carla Gallo will also act as the family's two other daughters in the pilot.
Al Higgins is the writer of the script and is co-producer with Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg, Karey Burke, Andrew Zein, and Ben Cavey.
Kelsey Grammer is known for his portrayal of psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane in the NBC sitcoms “Cheers” and “Frasier”. |
