 Ocean's 13 storms UK box office
Ocean's 13 has stormed its way to the top of the UK and Ireland box office in its first week of release.
The third of the casino-based dramas, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, pushed Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End off the top spot.
Directed by Steven Soderbergh and also featuring Al Pacino, its weekend takings were £3.02m.
Are We Done Yet? was a new entry at three, while romantic comedy Wedding Daze fell two places to four.
Spider-Man 3, starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, rounded out the top five with takings of £241,672.
The film has taken a total of £33m since it opened in cinemas six weeks ago.
Horror film Paradise Lost, which fell two places to six, took receipts of £185,361.
The teen slasher movie, starring Josh Duhamel and Melissa George, follows a group of backpackers who find themselves marooned in the Brazilian jungle. |
