 Dennis Rodman: Charged of inciting domestic violence
Dennis Rodman, the famous basketball player, has been charged of inflicting domestic violence. According to the prosecutors Dennis has allegedly hit his darling girlfriend during their stay at a hotel last month.
More news on Dennis Rodman has been inferred from various sources by the reporters of all the popular media. Nick Velasquez, the spokesperson of City Attorney of Los Angeles too has put forth their comments. He said that on Wednesday Dennis was charged with spousal battery, wielding a lethal weapon and also one count of dissuading a witness. All the charges Rodman were considered to be ‘misdemeanors’.
The policemen said that forty six year-old Dennis Rodman has been arrested at a hotel on April 30 after Gina Peterson, his girlfriend has informed about the incident to the hotel security. Later police has confirmed that she really suffered injuries in her arm.
In defense of Dennis Rodman, his spokesman Darren Prince commented that Rodman was totally drunk when he got into a dispute with Peterson. Prince claimed that in spite of the entire incident the couple is still dating.
An important source could also be available for comments. "We look forward to a successful resolution of this misdemeanor matter," added Paul Meyer, Rodman’s attorney.
However the media failed to contact Peterson over telephone. Also another attorney of Dennis Rodman namely Harland Braun declined to say anything on the charges
It is not the first time that Dennis Rodman has been accused of various charges. Dennis, famous for his weird hairstyles, body piercing and tattoos, has already faced thirty six months of imprisonment, one year of probation, domestic violence counseling etc.
So far as the domestic violence case is concerned, Dennis has got the order to appear in court on 22nd May. |
