Foxy Brown: Pleads guilty in another case
Almost less than a month after being discharged from jail Foxy Brown, the rap singer, has pleaded guilty on Thursday in another case. The charge was that she got involved in frightening a female with her expensive Blackberry phone. In this way she could avoid another possible punishment of going into prison. By pleading guilty, Foxy Brown avoided going on trial for assault, a felony charge that would carry a sentence of maximum of 7 years of imprisonment.
According to a source, Foxy Brown, in this way, is trying to remove all the murk that has already tarnished her image.
More details about Foxy Brown too can be gathered from a court spokesperson. According to the source the Blackberry case incident has occurred sometime back on July 2007. To be specific, Foxy Brown was accused of staining the eye and also chipping the tooth of her longtime neighbor called Arlene Raymond. To top it all, she struck the woman with the handheld communication device.
On Thursday, Brooklyn Supreme Court Judge namely John Walsh issued an order of protection and also ordered Foxy Brown to put forward a letter of apology. This has been confirmed by the court spokesman.
"I apologize for the incident that occurred on July 31, 2007, in that I attempted to scare Arlene Raymond and place her in harm's way." These are the words in ditto that Foxy Brown has used in her note of apology.
It is also known that Brown is on probation for assaulting two nail salon stylists. Moreover last month, Foxy Brown was freed from jail after serving 8 months of a one-year sentence for infringing her parole that has stemmed from the nail salon incident.
Foxy Brown is well accomplished in her singing career. With her 1999 album titled "Chyna Doll," Brown became the first female rap singer to have enlisted as No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the pop chart list of US encompassing all styles of music.
