The 1978 horror flick, by John Carpenter, has been given its biggest theatrical run since its debut, and released a new poster designed by artist Austin Hinderliter to mark the occasion.
This evergreen movie will be screened with Justin Beahm's new mini-documentary You Can't Kill The Boogeyman: 35 Years Of Halloween when it touches down in theatres on October 25.
Movie 'Halloween', starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence, introduced the masked serial killer Michael Myers to the world. The film went on to spawn seven sequels before the series was rebooted in 2007.
Film director Rob Zombie remade Carpenter's original that year, and followed it up with a sequel in 2009. A 3D entry in the series has been stuck in development hell for some time.
Although, Halloween is expected to be given a wide release across the US, but a re-release in the UK and other territories has not been confirmed.
