Nicolas Cage: Denies stalking co-star Vanessa Hudgens
Popular movie artist Nicolas Cage has denied a report that he "stalked" co-star Vanessa Hudgens.
Hudgens had become "unnerved" by Cage's attention towards her on the set of upcoming thriller The Frozen Ground, alleged a report from Star magazine.
The mag stated that Hudgens was aware of his so-called "reputation for freaking out younger co-stars", but had "no idea just how much he would make her squirm" until they began working together.
The actor allegedly "unnerved the starlet so much that she begged directors to banish him from the set".
A friend of Hudgens stated: "He constantly watched her and even showed up on days when he wasn't filming to see her.
"Vanessa finally asked the directors to intervene and keep him away because she couldn't concentrate on her performance".
Altough, a representative for Cage slammed the report, stating that there is absolutely no basis for the claims.
Gossip Gop reports that, the rep described the story as "beyond ridiculous" and "absurd".
Vaness's own spokesperson has also stated that there are "absolutely no truth" to the original report.
